About Us

 About Us

All About Occult is an online exhibition of a menagerie of articles on occultism, demonology, parapsychology, forteana, folklore and true ghost encounters. It deals with all the aspects of the paranormal- from ghosts to mythical creatures, from parapsychology to the psychic, from the bizarre to the unexplained and from the haunted to the eerie. From the day of its founding in the June of 2013, All About Occult has grown into one of the largest, most acclaimed online destinations for people with an interest in forteana, weird news, fringe culture and parapsychology. Whether you’re the avid researcher, or the guy who’s “just curious”, so long as you wish to have anything to do with the realm of forteana, this is the place for you.

What Makes Us Different

We are not the only website in this realm, true. Competition has never really been our thing either. But just in case you want to know, here’s what makes us stand out of the crowd:

  • Neutrality: Our cause and standpoint since 2013, neutrality is the practice of clean, responsible journalism delivered from a neutral viewpoint, without all the judgementalism and bias that blurs the truth around us.
  • Open-Mindedness: An open mind is, and has always been, our best practice. Instead of trying to unreasonably dump our own thoughts and ideas onto our readership, we give them the space to think, understand and opinionize for themselves.
  • Humor: Laughter is the best medicine, really. We try it on a regular basis, you should too. That’s what makes us stand out of the line from serious, poker-faced investigators who claim to be know-it-alls in the field.
